Francis G. Vieck II resides on a Hoosier Homestead Farm in Knox County, Indiana that dates back to 1867. Francie took over Vieck Family Farms from his father in 2000. He is a fifth-generation farmer working farm ground in Indiana and Illinois along both sides of the Wabash River. Growing popcorn became part of the farming operation 15 years ago augmenting the field corn, wheat, and soybean production. Francie has stayed an active member and officer of the Knox County Pork Producers for over 20 years even though the farm no longer raises any livestock. He has served in the various offices of the Vieck Ditch Association, and is currently its President. Francie is a 15-year participating member of the Knox County Ag Day Committee and also a lifetime member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Family Farm Grown® is proud to have a great farmer like Francie Vieck growing great popcorn for our consumers!
